Dulsco recognized by Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation
Dubai,1st May, 2018 – Dulsco, a regional leader in people and environmental solutions, has been recognized for its work with labourers in the UAE at the annual Labour Happiness Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE).
Dulsco was awarded the prize in the ‘Happiest bus’ category, for upholding the highest safety and security standards, and maintaining the welfare and happiness standards of its labourers.
The ceremony took place on International Workers day, the same day that the 2017-2018 Worker Welfare Report was released. The report calls for a labour market in the UAE that “empowers Emiratis and attracts talent from around the world”. It also reported significant improvements since 2014 in most safeguarding metrics.
The award was presented by His Excellency Nasser Bin Thani Juma Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation to David Stockton, Managing director and CEO at Dulsco.
“This honour is testament to the increasingly important role we’re playing in the country’s people solutions space. We believe that it is important all workers here in the UAE are respected, appreciated and treated equally – and that doing so undeniably results in a more productive working environment,” said Stockton.
The ceremony took place at the Ritz Carlton DIFC Hotel, with awards also handed out for “Happiest work environment,” “Happiest Card” and “Happiest labor accommodation”.
